Armadio Piemontese, c. 1800 Piemonte

Armoire in solid poplar.  Clean, unfussy lines define this piece.  Thick crown molding with clipped corners, substantial paneled doors and uncomplicated accent molding allow the golden hue of the wood to express itself.  Generous dovetailed drawer and onion feet give the piece a classic refined charm.
