Pair of Cassettone Bureaus, c. 1870 Lombardia

Solid walnut and walnut burl veneer.  Inset tops of Bardiglio Marble.  Pair of dressers in a very restrained Luigi Filippo style. Refined geometric mouldings and minimal decoration allow the elegance of the burled walnut speak for itself.  Unusual wooden tassel drawer pulls and onion feet make this a unique pair.
