Tavolo Rinascimento Dining/Library Table, c. 1890 Piemonte

Dining table in solid walnut and walnut veneers.  A companion piece to the Credenza Buffet.  Geometric carvings around edges of tabletop.  Apron and center support bear ornate intaglio carvings of flowers and scrolls.  Side panels  are intricately sculpted with acanthus leaves and scrolls, and centered with elaborately carved rosettes.  Supported by substantial lion’s paw feet.
